International Airport is closest and is easily accessible by train. There are

The Ngong Ping Skyrail provides
views of the South China Sea, North Lantau Country Park, the Tian Tan Buddha
Statue, and the Airport and travels 5.7 km. To travel, it takes 25 minutes.

the Ngong Ping Village when you reach the Skyrail terminal. Carved into wooden
logs, a classic Buddhist text can be seen and there is the Heart Sutra and a

The Giant Buddha is easily
visible from many points on Lantau Island. This gold colored statue of Buddha
is 85 feet tall and is located at the PoLin Monastery. In the world, It is the
largest sitting Buddha statue. A vegetarian restaurant is also there in the
PoLin Monastery.
